Camille Elaine Thomas is a Native Black American writer, Spoken Word performer, educator, and activist based in Hamburg. Born in Washington, D.C., her work explores Black memory, womanhood, ancestral inheritance, racial trauma, resistance, healing and the refusal to make oneself smaller. She is co-founder and director of the Afrotopia Black Academy and teaches on Black history, culture, politics and literature.
