Here, my room is my space. It’s bigger than my old one, and I haven’t left it since yesterday, when we got here. We don’t have internet yet, or cable, or anything, and living in the real world sucks. This isolation, with no escape into TV or cyberspace, is the headquarters where I liquify my anger, staring at the ceiling.
